Studied Floriculture. Michigan State University: 1976-1978 College of Agriculture. Awarded Technical Certification in Commercial Floriculture.

Saginaw Valley State College: 1981-1983 (Studied Vocal Music)

St. John Vianney Seminary and the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota: 1983-1985 Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. Graduated with Distinction.

St. Mary Seminary and University, Baltimore, Maryland: 1986-1991 Earned a Master of Divinity Degree. Graduated with Highest Distinction.


Sacred Orders
March 31, 1990: Ordained a Transitional Deacon in the St. Mary Seminary Chapel Baltimore, Maryland by the Most Reverend P. Francis Murphy, Auxiliary Bishop of Baltimore. August 31, 1991:

Ordained a Priest of Jesus Christ at St. Mary Cathedral in Lansing by the Most Reverend Kenneth J. Povish.
